Remodeling company located in Fort Worth off 1-30 and Beach Street is looking to fill for a full-time handyman position.
You must be confident in the basics of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and general residential home repair work.
You must be able to work independently and with a small crew.
The average number of houses under construction ranges between 25-35, so each day will be different with new challenges.
The following is a list of standard daily duties/responsibilities:
-Check-in to the office
-Meet with project managers regarding daily workload and goals
-Attend weekly PM meetings
-Meet with warehouse manager for any materials needed for the day
-Drive to property (company vehicle is provided or personal vehicle compensation available)
-Complete work and report back to the project manager.
Typical work on the job site:
-Make ready installation (lighting, fans, doorknobs, bathroom accessories, doorbells, etc.)
-Job inspections
-Creating punch lists
-Light carpentry
-Appliance installation
-General house repair work
You must have your own hand tools.
Workdays are Monday-Friday. The office is closed on Saturday and Sunday and major holidays. Overtime is available on the weekends when approved by the manager.
Job locations are all over the DFW metroplex. from Mineral Wells to Rock Wall.
Pay is based on knowledge and experience. Starting at $20/hour.
There is room for advancement into a salaried project manager position.
Paid time off after 6 month waiting period.
