Description Corporate ParalegalDo you have a passion for ensuring the smooth operation of a corporation's legal affairs? If so, we want you!Our client is seeking a talented Corporate Paralegal to join their growing legal department. You will play a vital role in supporting attorneys and ensuring the efficient management of various corporate legal matters.Responsibilities:

Litigation Oversight:

Provide oversight of assigned litigation matters, including managing outside counsel relationships.

Ensure adherence to approved budgets and deadlines.

Compile and submit status reports to the Associate General Counsel and General Counsel.

Document Preparation:

Draft legal documents for operational use, such as assignments and amendments to contracts.

Ensure all documents are accurate, complete, and comply with legal requirements.

Secured Transactions:

File and track Uniform Commercial Code (UCC-1) financing statements upon contract execution.

Maintain accurate records and ensure timely UCC filings.

Reporting:

Track and report on access agreements established with PNC for all consignment customers.

Prepare reports and summaries of legal activities as needed.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field (preferred).

Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a corporate legal environment.

Strong understanding of corporate law principles and contract drafting practices.

Excellent research and writing skills with the ability to create clear, concise, and legally sound documents.

Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and legal research databases (Westlaw, LexisNexis - a plus).

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with attorneys, internal departments, and external vendors.
