Description We are inviting applications for the role of a Family Law Paralegal based in Dallas, Texas. This role will be instrumental in assisting attorneys with all aspects of family law cases, including drafting legal documents, conducting legal research, communicating with clients, and managing case files. Responsibilities: Assisting attorneys through all phases of family law cases such as divorce, child custody, child support, and adoption Drafting legal documents including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests Conducting legal research on relevant laws, regulations, and legal articles Communicating with clients to gather information, provide updates, and answer questions Managing case files, including organizing and maintaining documents and correspondence Coordinating with court personnel, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in cases Preparing for and attending court hearings, trials, and mediations Assisting with other tasks and projects as needed Utilizing various software tools such as Adobe Acrobat, Case Management Software, LexisNexis, Management System, Microsoft Excel for different functions such as Billing, Briefing, Calendar Management, Claim Administration, and Complaint Handling. Requirements Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat, Case Management Software, LexisNexis, Management System, Microsoft Excel, Billing Functions, Briefing, Calendar Management, Claim Administration, Complaint Handling, and Family Law. Minimum of two years of experience in a paralegal role. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Knowledge of legal terminology and principles. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Familiarity with legal research. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field. Paralegal certification is preferred.
