How is your current job? How long have you been there? Do you know how many times I hear about someone who has been on a job for10 years and during that time they get some really pitiful raises like 5 or 6 dollars a for the entire 10 years!
Last week I hired a new person who had been with their employer for 4 years and during that time he gave her raises of only 75 cents a year and then when she told him she wanted to quit, he offered her a raise of $5.00 per hour
So what does that mean? He had the money all the time but he just didn't want to take care of her until she threatened to quit! I THINK THERE ARE A LOT OF EMPLOYERS LIKE THAT! They're just cheap SOB's.
And are you getting benefits?
There is a really famous competitor in San Antonio that repairs commercial kitchen cooking equipment and I am told that their top people: people who have been there for more than 10 years only make between $30.00 and $35.00 per hour I START PEOPLE AT THOSE RATES ON THEIR FIRST DAY OF EMPLOYMENT WITH ME
Do you think that is right?
If you are the best at what you do, then doesn't it seem right that you should be making the best money and get the best benefits in San Antonio?
If you want to work for us, we will teach you how to make money. And this is something that is very important because (and see if you agree to this) as a service tech, the better you get, the faster you get. So the faster you are, the less money you make for your services
Do you think that is fair?
So a trainee can come to your job and bill 6 hours and get paid for 6 hours and then you come and do the SAME job in 2 hours and get paid for 2 hours. Wouldn't it be better if you did that job in 2 hours and got paid for 6 hours? We will teach you how to do this.
