HVAC/R Technician - Commercial (Service Technician) - Hutto, Texas (Austin)

Job Description:
Perform service, maintenance, and repairs on Refrigeration and HVAC Equipment.
Install and start up new equipment, ranging from 5-ton up to 25-ton package units to walk-in coolers to smaller HVAC and refrigeration units.
Experience with walk-in coolers/freezers.
Experience with reach-ins and stand-ups.
Ice machines.
Hot and Cold Kitchen Equipment +
Share a rotating on-call schedule of weekends and nights to handle emergency service calls. Overtime pay applies.
Maintain good working order of company vehicle, including refueling, washing, and reporting any mechanical issues.
Company vehicles can be used for commuting to work.
Maintain proper stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment in the vehicle.
Create customer invoices and provide reports on equipment to the service manager via the use of company-provided iPad, including documentation of make, model, serial number, and photos.
Communicate proactively with customers and obtain customer signatures at the completion of the job.
Participate in company-provided training opportunities on the latest industry technologies.
Must be organized and maintain a tidy, neat appearance.
Special Skills:
Low-temperature applications.
Controls Knowledge.
Certification Required:
Universal EPA Certification.
Texas Registered Technician.
Work Experience and Qualifications Required:
Refrigeration System, Experience, & follow all 3rd party IVR system policies & CK In & Out of Service calls.
Five-plus years in the industry.
Must have a current Texas driver’s license and be able to work in the United States.
