Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
Entering and maintaining invoices for the dealership's purchases(50+ invoices) with backup for the other dealership
Reconciling vendor statements and issuing timely vendor payments
Set up and maintain the Vendor's file
Intercompany transactions
Scanning
Checks all vouchers and obtains appropriate payment approval
Prepares accounts payable checks
Post all open items in accounts payable daily for a dealership's/backup to the other A/P clerk
Prints all accounts payable reports and maintains all accounts payable files
Reconciles statements and the ledger, making sure that payments are consistent with dealership schedules
Reconcile cash schedule
Analyzes vendor accounts
Assist in answering vendor inquiries
Assists in monthly closings
Assists with accounts receivable and special projects, as necessary
Maintains a professional appearance and a neat work area
Other duties will be assigned
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Automotive experience is a must
Highly organized and eager to improve
Willingness to take initiative
Computer literacy, quality writing, and grammar skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks easily
Ability to provide quality customer service
Work with all levels of employees
Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
