RV Fleet Manager (apartment maintenance manager)

Do you have extensive apartment maintenance or handyman skills? Can you diagnosis and repair a wide range of air-conditioning, electrical and plumbing issues? Our company is called Fancy Flush which provides luxury mobile restroom trailers for upscale events as well as for commercial contractors and is seeking someone to manage, repair and maintain our fleet of trailers at our yard in Leander and sometimes out at various jobsites. Also, those with extensive RV repair knowledge are encouraged to apply as these restroom trailers are built just like RVs. If you have good repair skills, good communication skills, you are organized and a self-starter, this might be a great fit.

You can set your own schedule as long as you keep up with the workload. Our yard is in Leander, Tx but occasionally you'll need to go to different job-sites for on-site repairs. We mainly serve central Texas from San Antonio to DFW and Houston.

This is optional, but If you have towing experience and ¾ ton truck with a clean driving record, you could also "double-dip" and do deliveries as well for extra .

Someone who is VERY responsive to calls/texts

Speaks professionally to customers

Someone who is organized and keeps all workspaces neat and tidy

Someone who is a self-starter, can work independently and does not need direct supervision

Someone who takes repairs/maintenance seriously and does them correctly and thoroughly

Someone who has a clean driving and criminal record

Job Requirements:

You must live with 40 miles of Leander, Tx

You must have your own basic tools (we supply specialty tools only)

You must either have or willing to learn basic computer software knowledge such as entering data into spreadsheets (we use these to keep track and stay organized)

You must be available to work occasional weekend days when necessary

You must be able to demonstrate during interview that you have electrical and a/c repair knowledge

Welding, exterior fiberglass repair/painting and basic handyman skills preferred

Job duties:

Perform repairs to our trailers as-needed at our yard as well as the occasional on-site job repair

Keep track and perform semi-annual maintenance to all trailers to keep them in tip-top condition

“lightly” manage one person at our yard

Occasional Exterior body repair and painting as well as interior wall/floor repairs

Coordinate septic pumping

Occasional repairs as needed at our yard (example: repairing our gate, fixing minor plumbing or electrical issues)

Respond to calls and questions about any trailer at a jobsite

Pay is $1100 per week flat pay as subcontractor(plus reimbursable expenses and mileage). Our business is seasonal so the workload varies a bit but as a subcontractor you can set your own schedule but some weekend work may be needed. We are busiest October/November and March thru June.
