Job Title: Dozer Operator (Fine grade with GPS systems)Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Fine Grade Dozer Operator to join our construction team. A successful candidate will be responsible for operating a dozer to perform fine grading tasks utilizing Topcon and or Trimble for our grading project. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of grading techniques to ensure the site meets specified elevations and requirementsResponsibilities
Operate a dozer to perform fine grading for construction sites, ensuring accurate and precise elevations.
Read and interpret blueprints, grade stakes, and other project documentation.
Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Coordinate with other equipment operators and laborers on-site to achieve project goals.
Monitor and adjust machine settings to maintain proper grading techniques.
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while operating equipment.
Communicate effectively with the site supervisor and other team members regarding progress and any issues encountered.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Ideal candidates are confident on one or more of the various kinds of Construction Heavy equipment (Excavators, front end loader, skid steers, backhoes, Haul trucks, etc.)
Required Qualifications
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and grade stakes.
Strong understanding of grading techniques and site preparation.
Ability to perform routine maintenance and basic repairs on equipment.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work in various weather conditions and environments.
Valid driver’s and second form of ID or Passport.
Job TypeThis is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s). Weekly pay, benefits, 401K options and plenty of over time.Work SiteThis is a fully on-site position in Sumter, South Carolina.Work EnvironmentThe role involves working outdoors on civil development sites, dealing with various weather conditions.
