Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Manager to join our team. The Kitchen Manager will oversee all aspects of the kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation, excellent customer service, and adherence to food safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary excellence and team leadership. This is a new position and will be working with management closely to get things going in the right direction.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, hire/fire and supervise kitchen staff in food preparation and cooking activities
- Ensure recipes and quality standards are consistently met
- Operate kitchen equipment such as grills, fryers, and Toast POS system efficiently
- Maintain proper food handling, storage procedures, and food safety regulations
- Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and sanitized at all times
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth service flow and timely delivery of orders
- Assist in meal preparation, plating, and presentation as needed
- Manage inventory levels and place orders for supplies as necessary

Experience:
- Previous experience in culinary management is required
- Proficiency with Toast POS system is a plus
- Strong background in food safety practices and regulations
- Experience in team management and leadership roles
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with staff and customers
