The James is a neighborhood restaurant offering traditional American fare in the heart of James Island in Charleston, SC. With an inviting, family-friendly atmosphere, The James offers familiar dishes and top-notch hospitality, creating a community gathering place to return to time and time again. We are looking for someone with experience in a bustling environment – those comfortable and confident in their ability to move about the floor by assisting team members, interacting with guests, and being a problem solver. The Restaurant Manager:
Experienced in a full-service, high-volume environment, in a management or key holder position.
Passionate about hospitality with an in-depth knowledge of food, wine and refined cocktails
Knowledgeable of operational management procedures not limited to budgetary discipline, property management, staff supervision, inventory management and food safety protocols
Honest, genuine, and has an ownership-driven mentality with a hands-on attitude
Excited to spend time providing hospitality to our guests, assisting staff and problem solving on demand
