Must be willing to work EST hours.Responsibilities:The Data Product Manager plays a key role in delivering enterprise data within FM Global. The Data Product Manager will be responsible for ensuring an effective implementation of Data as a Product for the insurance policy business domain. This individual is responsible for defining the product roadmap, building a backlog, and managing the data product aligned with business objectives. The Data Product Manager will manage the team and work closely with other data product managers, and cross-functional teams to ensure our data products are designed and built aligned to best practices within FM Global.Works with stakeholders though out the business to ensure the domain of data they are responsible for, delivers on the needs of the business and maximizes the value of the data within their domain.Set clear product vision and roadmap for their domain of data.Build a product that ensures your domain of data is discoverable, addressable, understandable, governed, and high-quality.Work with stakeholders to ensure your data effectively meets the organizational needs and is adopted consistently across FM Global.Effectively communicate with stakeholders to ensure they are delighted with your data product.Assess temporary and/or permanent candidates for opportunities on product teams to augment team capacity and/or skills.Leverage Agile framework and methodology to deliver data features and release incremental value to stakeholders.Collaborate with platform and enabling teams to ensure data products are built consistently.Define and manage the product backlog and roadmap.Ensure the data product meets quality and timeliness expectations. Qualifications:Minimum of 5 years in product management or data engineering (or similar) experience. Minimum of 5 years technical experience building data related solutions.Knowledge of Kafka or other streaming technologies are a plusKnowledge of integration with API’s.Experience in the Insurance Industry. Understanding of Policy data domain a plus.Proven ability to make hard decisions in a fast-paced environment and accountable for supporting enterprise priorities. Strong problem-solving skills; able to operate at both strategic vision and tactical execution level. Intermediate knowledge of Data Governance techniques.Servant-leader with outstanding planning, analytical, decision-making, organization, communication, and teamwork skills, with a proven ability to influence others and build consensus An inclusive, empowering, and creative leader with experimental approach. Including demonstrated willingness to learn and develop others.  Education 4 Year College Degree/Bachelors  The salary range for this position is $130,700 to $187,800. The final salary offer will vary based on geographic location, individual education, skills, and experience.
