The Governor's Center for Local Government Services is seeking a detail-orientated Administrative Officer 1 to assist the Executive Director, Deputy Director, and/or Policy Managers in the coordination and administration of the Act 47 Program, Strategic Management Planning, and Local Government Capital Loan Programs. DESCRIPTION OF WORKIn this position, you will provide assistance in the processing, administration, and coordination of the municipal financial recovery, strategic management planning, and local government capital loan programs. You will respond to inquiries concerning the various programs supported by the division. This role proposes modifications and improvements to the processes in the Center for Local Government Services. You will assist in the tracking of grant program budgets. Additionally, this role will make recommendations to the program managers regarding improvements to the grant administrative process. Interested in learning more? Full-time employment

Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch.

Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) full-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

Two years of experience in varied office management or staff work; and bachelor's degree; or

Any equivalent combination of experience and training.

Additional Requirements:

You must have at least 1 year of experience using mail merge in Microsoft Word.

You must have at least 1 year of experience using Microsoft Excel to perform each of the following functions: SUM formula, AVERAGE formula, charts and graphs, sorting data, and find and replace.

You must be able to perform essential job functions.
