THE POSITION

The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board (PLCB) has an exciting opportunity for a professional Information Technology Generalist 2 in the Enterprise Integration, Quality Assurance, and Testing Division. DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this role you will serve as a quality assurance controller and will work with the unit responsible for testing new and modified software programs and systems. Conducting meetings with a variety of staff including business leads, upper management, testers, and technical staff will be included in your duties. You will have the opportunity to collaborate in the development of testing standards and procedures to determine product quality and release readiness and ensure compliance with those standards. You will be responsible for leading cross division teams to track testing progress and provide feedback to management to ensure timelines and standards are being followed.Additional details regarding the duties of this position may be found in theposition description.Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment.

Work hours are 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch.

Telework: You will have the opportunity to work from home (telework) full-time, with the exception of reporting to the Northwest Office Building on the Tuesday before Board meeting dates once every two to three weeks, and as operational needs dictate. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters Northwest Office Building in Harrisburg.

Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

One year as an Information Technology Generalist 1, Applications Developer 1, or Network Specialist 1; or

Four years of information technology experience that includes one year of technical information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, network operation or network maintenance, web site development or web site design, or other information technology support/administration services; or

Two years of information technology experience that includes one year of technical information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, network operation or network maintenance, web site development or web site design, or other information technology support/administration services, and an associate's degree in any information technology field; or

A bachelor's degree in any information technology field; or

An equivalent combination of experience and training.
