The Area Administrative Specialist demonstrates commitment to the team by supporting the Service Team Coordinators with clerical, administrative, planning and organizational responsibilities. The Area Administrative Specialist is able to multi-task and ensures that any number of needed support items are prioritized and attended to at any given time. This person is also a self starter, mentor, detail oriented, creative problem solver, and is able to juggle many competing job duties as well as prioritizes successfully.

Compensation and Benefits:

-Wage is $18.25/hr ($17.50/hr + $0.75/hr differential after the successful completion of Orientation).

-Retirement, PTO, Medical, Dental, Vision and Life for Full Time (30 hours or more weekly) employees.

Type of Position:

-Full-time, hourly, non-exempt.

-Includes occasional evenings and weekends are required, and includes occasional direct support assignments, when/where needed.

General Requirements:

High School Diploma/GED

At least 6 Months of experience supporting people with I/DD required.

Must be at least 18 years old.

Possess a valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record (min of 6 months driving experience).

Be able to regularly lift a minimum of 25 lbs.

Pass a State/Federal criminal history check (fingerprints may be required).

Willing to submit to a pre-employment drug screening for illegal substances in Oregon.

Pass a pre-employment computer skills assessment.

Attend a two week in-person paid orientation in Monmouth, OR.

Be able to be certified and maintain certification in OIS.

Be able to be certified and maintain certification with First Aid/CPR.

Job Specific Duties:

Provide, as assigned, Direct Support services (up to 16 hours a week). Including any supportive actions such as financial oversight, STC reviews, etc. to ensure the consistent quality operations of a home and services to people.

Capable of ensuring quality services and supports (e.g., administer medication, provide physical care, and intervention, etc.) including working unsupervised and alone with people receiving supports.

Be proficient in Therap including being able to pull needed reports, provide training and mentoring.

Update and maintain delegated items such as ISPs and documents related protocols and support documents, vehicle mileage tracking, etc.

Participate in QA/TA/State Review functions and provide needed support in completing associated tasks to resolve items noted in QA/TA/State Review.

Conduct assigned tasks in any needed areas related to STC Reviews, Quality Reviews, POIs, etc.

Assist the Service Team Coordinators to train, motivate, and coach DSPs.
