A rapidly growing CNC shop working with the Military / Aerospace and Department of Defense is looking for a mill and lathe machinist/operator. Work can be full time or flextime depending on your work needs.
Job responsibilities will include:
-Operating CNC milling machine (Haas)
-Working directly with the engineering department to improve setup and spindle-up time
-Interpreting blueprints, geometric tolerances, and finishing requirements
-Inspecting visually and with the use of measuring tools to verify parts conform to drawing, blueprints, and or setup sheets
-Maintains a safe, organized, and clean work area
- Completing job travelers, documenting machining practices/knowledge for each run
Skills/Qualifications: -Knowledge of G and M codes for CNC mills
-Self Motivated
-Multi-tasking capable
-Knowledge of machining measuring tools
-Ability to stand 8 hours continuously and lift 40lbs repetitively
-High attention to detail
-Ability to work as a team and independently
