Job Duties:
Manage structural steel projects
Direct and supervise structural steel and metal fabricators
Read blueprints
Fabricate structural steel and other metal fabrication projects
Field welding/ In-house welding
Job bidding
Job walks
Quickbooks entry
Other jobs as assigned
Requirements:
Structural steel work experience required
Attention to detail is essential as high quality is required
Reliable Transportation
Commute to job sites and be able to tow welding trailer
Welding certification or ability to get certified in Oregon and Washington
Background check required
Ability to do and direct others to do the following - Prep parts for fabrication Top notch welding Quality check parts before they move on to the next phase Load and unload metal parts to/from trucks and trailers Meet deadlines Work as a team with others
