Lead the implementation and maintenance of accounting policies and procedures in accordance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
Research, analyze, and interpret complex accounting issues, including revenue recognition, lease accounting, business combinations, and other technical matters.
Provide guidance and support to cross-functional teams on accounting treatment for significant transactions and contracts.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements, footnotes, and disclosures for SEC filings and other external reporting requirements.
Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate the audit process and address any accounting-related inquiries.
Stay current on emerging accounting standards and assess their potential impact on the company's financial reporting.
Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting processes.
Mentor and develop staff members to foster a high-performing and collaborative team culture.
