Accounts Payable Specialist

Description We are offering a contract opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in the healthcare industry, based in Portland, Maine. The chosen candidate will perform a variety of tasks related to managing and processing accounts payable for our organization. Responsibilities: Conduct regular check runs and invoice coding Perform data entry tasks related to accounts payable Use Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis Utilize Accounts Payable (AP) skills to ensure accurate and efficient processing of payments Handle check processing and purchase orders in a timely and efficient manner Utilize the Lawson software to manage and process accounts payable data Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure all financial deadlines are met Resolve any arising inquiries or issues related to accounts payable Assist in the continuous improvement of the accounts payable process within the organization.Requirements Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is essential Skills in Check Processing are necessary Data Entry skills are a must Knowledge of Purchase Orders is required Familiarity with Lawson software is beneficial.
