## Position Overview:
The Farmers Market Manager is a dynamic role suited for someone who can adapt to a changing environment. The ideal candidate should have a passion for organic farming, community-building, and a drive for personal and professional growth.
## Key Responsibilities:
Prepare vendor kits for each market weekend.
Coordinate market placement and staffing.
Oversee recruitment and hiring processes.
Conduct tracking and debriefing post-market events.
Manage inventory and financial transactions.
Lead market research and outreach initiatives.
Drive social media development to enhance brand presence.
Oversee the farm's online merchandise expansion.
Coordinate travel for expos and manage off-site market placements.
Short-term Goals:
Maintain a team of 5 market ambassadors per weekend.
Launch a satellite market outside of Portland once a month starting in 2024.
Grow Instagram following to 7,000 by March 2024.
## Mid-term Goals:
Implement a bonus structure for high-performing market sales.
Expand market operations to Los Angeles and other Cities
Proven ability to work with uncertainty and bring creativity to the role.
Strong organizational and leadership skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Social media savvy, with a knack for digital marketing.
Willingness to travel and manage multiple market sites.
Commitment to organic farming and community engagement.
Start Date:
