eRep, Inc. is assisting a dynamic, expanding firm in hiring a Production Manager with significant position growth opportunity.
This Portland, Oregon area-based landscape design and outside living space installation company has been in business for almost 50 years and has established a great foundation on which to grow to the next level. The company's services are the leaders in its market.
The primary contribution of this role for the organization is to drive revenue growth through a focus on execution, effective production management through efficient resource allocation and accountable leadership. They will drive projects to completion that meet the customers' expectations, on time and on budget.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving operational excellence. They will be expected to identify operational goals.
They will have strong financial and resource allocation experience, which will cause the company to maximize revenue and minimize costs. They will solidly comprehend how to guide and inspire a team towards operational execution.
Responsibilities
-Manage and schedule labor, equipment, and materials to accomplish assigned tasks
-Recruit and train staff as needed to ensure quality of work standard is maintained
-Inspect properties before scheduled service visits to create complete lists of items to be completed by the crew
-Visit job sites regularly to assess the quality of work
-Prepare and submit proposals to clients for additional services or enhancements
-Respond to customer requests and service concerns in a professional manner and on a timely basis
-Evaluate and maintain the fleet, equipment, and tooling needs
-Manage and maintain all required paperwork (i.e. service tickets, vehicle and equipment inspection logs, etc)
-Post project evaluation
-Promote and adhere to safety policies and company procedures
Qualifications
-7-10 years of continuous Supervisory experience in the landscape field
-Proven track record of leading a team towards goal achievement
