A Clinic Coordinator in the Drug Testing field is front facing and responsible for positive daily interaction with our clients. This position requires a people person that understands the value of building relationships and providing excellent customer service. Our Client Specialists meet with clients daily at their place of business to collect urine specimens, build rapport and stay in touch with the client’s needs. Our number one goal is to provide solutions to employers that are dedicated to a safe and productive environment for their employees, and we do this by building relationships with them and becoming a part of their safety team. This position is the face of that effort, so it is extremely important to bring your “A” game every single day.
Duties will include but are not limited to maintaining the integrity of the collection process, maintaining records for reporting purposes, and packaging the specimens for shipment. Also, this position requires someone that is highly motivated to provide an excellent customer experience. We take the front facing aspect of our business very seriously as this position is a valuable liaison. This position is unique in that it is more than just a specimen collector. In this position you will learn many new skills that can help you advance within our fast-growing company if you so desire. And best of all, we will train you!
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Foster open communication between the client and our entire team here at BODT
Take initiative to anticipate the client’s needs and communicate that to our team
Daily organization and planning for supplies, etc.
The ability to follow a schedule, yet the flexibility to handle changes in a schedule
Being prompt every day without fail
Follow the standard operating procedures (SOPs) for sample collection
Ensure the integrity of each ‘Chain of Custody’ and sample:
Sufficient sample volumes
Samples properly labeled and sealed
Ensure paperwork is completed correctly
Participate in process improvements, including process definition.
Answer questions from client/patients regarding our services
Complete and maintain required Compliance Training which we provide
Comply with all applicable safety requirements including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Maintain regular communication with our Business Development Team
Maintain an excellent working knowledge of BODT suite of services
Represent BODT in a professional, positive manner
Participate in team meetings with input to make everyone better
Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals
Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill
Other duties as required and assigned
A Successful Candidate Must Possess:
High School diploma or GED required
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a focus on quality and extreme confidentiality
Excellent organizational skills
Excellent customer service skills are essential to success in this role
The desire to learn & follow instruction
Confidence in oneself
Positive approach and attitude
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work as a team player
The ability to pass a drug test
A sense of humor (we like to have fun here but we take our jobs seriously)
Basic computer knowledge including, but not limited to:
Ability to send, receive, and monitor emails via computer AND SmartPhone
Be familiar with Google Calendar and Gmail
Experience and understanding of Windows operating system (Word, Excel, etc)
Basic typing skills
