Bridge Charter Academy is a vibrant charter school seeking to fill a full-time middle school (grades 6-8) teaching position, "Learning Coordinator", for the upcoming 2024-2025 academic year. Candidate must be an Oregon TSPC licensed teacher. The position will begin in August 2024.
Candidate will work with families to provide personalized education to our home-based charter students by interacting with students in a non-traditional format. Learning Coordinators are expected to engage students both in-person and remotely. This position emphasizes family engagement, student tracking, and cooperative peer collaboration. Our ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and be able to plan, prepare, and present lessons to multi-age groups in a blended learning environment. The candidate will communicate regularly and consistently with students and families.
Qualifications:
Oregon Teaching License;
Enthusiasm for meeting students where they are;
Enthusiasm for partnering with students' families to ensure academic growth;
Strong data collection and record keeping skill and interest;
Ability to work independently and independently manage time and projects;
Strong collaboration skills a must!
Work Location/Schedule: BCA campus - located in Bend, Oregon (In-Person/Remote Hybrid), Monday-Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm. Tuesdays and Wednesdays are required to be on-campus.
