Bridge Charter Academy is the type of school you were hoping still existed in the world. We are currently looking to hire a full-time Educational Coach to assist in our academic program. The candidate must be energetic, personable, and love working with students and families.
Educational Coaches are responsible for building and maintaining an academically supportive relationship with students and families. Educational Coaches communicate with students weekly via Zoom and provide regular updates to parents. Educational Coaches work with students in-person during our Academy Base Camp and Timberline classes as they explore their purpose and direction in life. Relationship-building, cheerleading, and encouragement are all key to the Educational Coach role.
Qualifications:
Strong communication skills
Strong desire to collaborate with parents, students, and other educators
Leadership and program development interest
Able to help plan, prepare, and present lessons to multi-age groups in a blended learning environment
Willing to work with students in small groups or 1:1 settings as needed to offer support
Experience with student engagement events in environments such as a schools, camps, or youth groups.
Experience with and/or a willingness to learn technology platforms such as Zoom, Canvas, and Google Suite.
Oganization and record keeping skills
Ideal candidate will:
Demonstrate interest in flexible education options for students and families
Demonstrate independence with an ability to think critically
Possess strong creativity and program development interests
Place high value on rigorous, motivating, and adaptive educational plans
Position begins in August 2024.
