Accounts Payable Specialist

Description We are looking for a diligent Accounts Payable Clerk for a client in Beaverton, Oregon. In this role, you will be tasked with the processing and reconciliation of accounts payable, maintaining accurate financial records, and using accounting software to track and resolve financial discrepancies. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Process and reconcile accounts payable on a regular basis. Handle an average of 200 transactions per month, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Perform 3-way match and reconciliations to verify the accuracy of transactions and resolve discrepancies. Code invoices with the correct general ledger (GL) codes to ensure proper categorization. Conduct weekly check runs to ensure timely payments to vendors. Use accounting software/ERP systems to manage financial transactions and generate reports.
