Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Billing Analyst located onsite in an office north of downtown Cincinnati. The selected candidate will be tasked with a range of responsibilities related to analyzing and verifying vendor billing details, as well as handling accounts receivable duties and maintaining updated vendor-related records.Responsibilities: Analyze and verify service, staffing, consulting and telecom vendor billing details to ensure accuracy Process and issue bills, receipts, and invoices linked to vendor accounts Engage in account reconciliation tasks to resolve vendor discrepancies Inform client companies about their outstanding debts and payment deadlines Update vendor account receivable databases, logging new accounts or missed payments Prepare detailed reports on billing activities, including outstanding invoices, payment plans, and collection activities Serve as a liaison between vendors and our locations to address billing inquiries or complaints Collaborate with teams to ensure billing accuracy Review, update, and maintain large databases held in MS Access Conduct audits of vendor accounts for compliance and accuracy Assist with month-end and year-end closing of vendor accounts.Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Billing Analyst or in a similar role Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) Experience with Billing Functions and preparing Billing Statements Familiarity with Microsoft Access and Microsoft Access Queries Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
