Immediate Hiring of Cook/ Prep Cook with ability to make deliveries. Interviews help 3/29 & tryout held 3/30
Must have experience in:
Sanitize food preparation and serving areas
Stir or turn foods to ensure even cooking
Cook and season food according to recipes provided by Owner/ Head Chef
Prepare & package food to specified portion amount
Ability to shop at Local Stores for Menu shopping lists can be provided in the beginning
Consult with Owner/ Chef in regards menu plans or changes
Keep records and manage accounts
Eventually be able to figure out what quantity of food will be needed for a specified period and menu
Place orders for food supplies when available food is getting low
Prepare food according to specification
Package foods for workers to deliver to customer
Ensure that the equipment are always in the right condition and cleaned after each use
Keep work areas clean and monitor oven temperatures
Assist other cooks in times of emergencies
Perform other tasks as employer requires
Experience with trimming proteins chicken, beef & fish
Ability to deliver meals to clients in your own vehicle
Must be able to lift & carry 80lbs to 100lbs
We are looking for someone with Large Catering or Hotel Kitchen experience. Part time in the beginning but will grow into full time quickly. Busy Months are July through February. If you have knowledge of Sports this is a plus. If you have knowledge of Nutrition this is a plus as well.
