[Position Summary:

[WGI is seeking a full-time Security Support Specialist for Physical, Personnel, Information, Special Access Programs (SAPs), and Industrial Security in the Fort Liberty Area to support government agencies.

[Roles and Responsibilities include but are not limited to[:

[Serves as Security Support Specialist, responsible for assisting, monitoring, and advising on all aspects of security to include Physical, Personnel, Information, Industrial, and Special Access Program (SAP). Will plan and assist in implementation of security activities at the DoD Top-Secret and higher classification to ensure USSOCOM personnel (Military, Civilians, and Contractors) and all supported tenant organizations are prepared to operate in traditional and non-traditional environments to perform critical mission tasks. Will enforce written technical approaches and methodologies with regard to security proposals. Formulating and ensuring compliance with automated information systems security procedures

Suggesting, implementing, and monitoring compliance with special security policies and procedures

Conducting and coordinating the training for special security representatives

Performing as a liaison with government and industrial security officials, overseeing collateral and higher access and badge procedures

Performs all other duties as assigned.
