Greenhouse Technician

A Greenhouse Technician role in Durham, NC is now available through Adecco Medical and Science. In this role, you conduct a variety of crop phenotyping experiments in controlled environments including greenhouses, growth chambers, and laboratories. The pay rate for this position is $21.39/hr. Please note that this a minimum 6-month temp/contract position starting in early July 2024. Shift: Monday-Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm.Responsibilities :Conduct a variety of crop phenotyping experiments in controlled environments including greenhouses, growth chambers, and laboratories.Perform integrated plant phenotyping activities to quantify morphological, physiological, agronomic, and molecular traits.Seek opportunities to optimize operational efficiency associated with plant care, phenotypic measurements, and digital data collections.Collect and deliver phenotypic data timely to meet project milestones using science-based approaches.Perform all activities in accordance with Health, Safety, and Environmental Policy.Qualifications:BS Degree in Molecular Biology, Plant Science, or related field.Minimum of 1-2 years' laboratory and/or greenhouse experience.Pay Details: $21.39 per hourBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
