Job Title: Electrical Design EngineerJob DescriptionThe Controls Design Engineer II provides the electrical/controls design on product improvements for electrical/controls infrastructure of our manufactured product lines as well as coordinate site wide drawings as applicable per site/project. These design activities are to provide assurance that our equipment/sites/projects are being built and/or applied per engineering documents, manufacturing and other required standards, such as UL and NEC. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Engineering Degree required.
Minimum 2 years of related experience required.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as: construction drawings, single lines, product manuals, control drawings, work instructions, written directions, and markups to electrical/control drawings.
Strong analytical, communication and organizational skills with a desire for continuous improvement.
Detail-oriented and accurate and a positive can-do attitude.
Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, including collaborating with other teams.
Occasionally required to inspect products in-progress in manufacturing.
Proficient with 2-D (AutoCAD) AutoCAD Electrical or equivalent software.
Knowledgeable of UL, NEC, and NFPA 79 standards.
Work Environment
Hybrid (3 days onsite / 2 from home).
This role requires interface with production as builds are in progress to ensure projects are on time and with quality.
The rest of the time will be spent in an office setting / behind a CAD screen.
