Description:Work with VIP clients T3 (Google, Meta) on the orders for data farms. Work with the client needs and collaborate internally at carrier to formulate quoting. You’ll learn the products and collaborate with all functions – project, eng, supply chain, mfg, test.For the day to day activities , there are 4 components as below
Receive customer orders and prepare the quotes for the order
a. using certain applications/tools to determine cost & schedule for the orderb. For new designs/changes - collaborate with suppliers, Designers, supply chain to obtain quotes and estimates to be used for Order quoting
Work with special order design teams– provide requirements to them, review the final output, review and approve the ECN’s, lead review meetings and ensure timelines are met
Work with manufacturing throughout the product build – ensure schedule, quality and drive resolution for any build issues or post sales customer issues.
Other Projects – will be working on a few projects like business process improvements, supplier events, team events etc
Chiller Special Order Process EngineerJob Description SummaryThe primary purpose of this position is to provide subject matter expert engineering support for the special-order quoting, design and fabrication processes used for custom chiller products produced at this facility. Additionally, this role will serve to ensure that the quoting, costing, engineering and operations resources meet established metrics for product cost, scheduling and delivery to the customer. A successful special-order process engineer must have the ability to indirectly lead and influence teams and be able to ensure that the custom products designed and delivered consistently meet the same established quality and reliability standards as standard products.
