Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Office Assistant in Charlotte, North Carolina, 28217, United States. This role involves providing coverage for a Receptionist and assisting with various office functions. You will be required to use a variety of software tools, including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Word, to perform clerical duties and deliver excellent customer service.Responsibilities: Provide coverage for the Receptionist as needed Use Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Word to perform various tasks Handle a variety of office functions to ensure smooth operations Perform clerical duties, such as filing, copying, and organizing documents Handle correspondence with clients and stakeholders Deliver excellent customer service to clients and stakeholders Use 'About Time' software for time and attendance tracking Resolve customer inquiries and issues in a professional and timely manner Maintain a clean and organized workspace Collaborate with team members to achieve overall office objectives. Requirements Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Word Demonstrable experience in executing office functions effectively Understanding of clerical duties and ability to perform them accurately Knowledge of 'About Time' software and ability to use it efficiently Ability to manage correspondence with precision and timeliness Excellent customer service skills and a commitment to maintaining high service standards Experience in a similar role or relevant office environment would be advantageous Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently Excellent communication skills, both written and oral Ability to work collaboratively in a team as well as independently High level of attention to detail and accuracy Professional attitude and appearance at all times Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
