Description We are seeking a highly-skilled and experienced Compensation and Benefits Manager for the North American region. This role plays an integral part in our human resources team by developing, implementing, and administering our company's compensation and benefits programs.The ideal candidate should have a vast understanding of North American labor law and other regulations related to job compensation and employee benefits. They will be responsible for ensuring competitive employee compensation and benefits that align with our company's policies and budgetary guidelines.Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive compensation and benefits strategy that is aligned with the company's strategic objectives and legal requirements.

Analyze compensation policies, government regulations, and prevailing wage rates to develop competitive compensation plans.

Fulfill all reporting requirements of various laws and regulations.

Survey industry trends and monitor competitiveness of the company's compensation and benefits packages.

Design, evaluate and modify benefits policies to ensure that programs are current, competitive, and in compliance with legal requirements.

Facilitate informative employee benefit meetings and liaise with benefits brokers, vendors, and consultants, as needed.

Manage and oversee payroll processing ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.

Ensure all pay and benefits plans are cost-effective and competitive.

Requirements

Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA or a master's degree in a related field will be considered a plus.

Proven experience, at least 5-7 years, as a Compensation and Benefits Manager or similar role in human resources.

Deep understanding of North American labor laws and other employment-related legal regulations.

Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with attention to detail to manage complex benefits and compensation databases.

Proficient in using Human Resources Information Software (HRIS).

Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Resilience in working in a fast-paced environment, with an ability to handle pressure and meet tight deadlines.
