This position is responsible for assisting prepping, fabricating and installing commercial door hardware. Keep things organized and accounted for. Total professionalism must be displayed regarding attitude, appearance and customer service. All of this would be performed adhering to highest of safety regulations and quality of workmanship. There is also the opportunity to enter an apprenticeship through our company and the possibility to advance through training on multiple machines at our facility.
Basic Job Responsibilities:
1. Daily cutting and lifting of aluminum extrusions
2. Cutting, drilling and assembling all components required for specific project
3. Assist in material take offs and job ordering
4. Material receiving
5. Hardware inventory
Required Knowledge/Experience:
1. Clean drivers license
2. Ability to read, interpret, comprehend work orders
3. Ability to work alone
Required Abilities:
1. Ability to lift 75 pounds
2. Use of Suction Cups for Glass handling
3. Some over the head lifting and extension
4. Bending & stretching
