Job Purpose:
Enable individual to participate in occasional recreational activities and assist with activities of daily living. This young man has cerebral palsy and uses a power wheelchair. His physical disability does not slow him down; he is a Mechanical Engineer and owns his own business, RapAdapt. RapAdapt makes custom assistive technology for individuals with disabilities. He is very intelligent, always on the go, and is looking for the right person to help him in the evenings.
This individual manages his own care and employees. All responses and correspondence will go directly to him. No previous experience required for this position. This individual is very easy going and personable. When you respond please be prepared to describe your personality and give a “snapshot” of who you are. Duties:
Meal preparation
Assist in recreational activities if needed (outings)
Assist with communication
Assist with transfers
Assist with bathrooming and bathing
Hours:
This individual is looking for help Saturday, Sunday, and Monday evenings from 6 to 10 or 11pm. Individual will be hiring multiple candidates depending on availability.
Skills/Qualifications:
No previous experience required.
Lift 50 lbs.
Reliable transportation

Compensation:
This individual manages his own care through the CDPAP program. Payment will come through All American Home Care. Private pay is NOT available
