Job Grade: 4 ($16.18- $21.23)Internal Posting Dates: March 15, 2024-March 20, 2024CHMC – Environmental Service Worker – Full Time- Day Shift – Primary Shift between 5a-3p-Requisition 7303Environmental Services Worker performs environmental services duties in accordance with established standards and regulations including: maintaining a clean, sanitary hospital environment and providing and distributing clean linen supplies. Ensures departments and stocked with toiletries in restrooms.Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Related experience preferred. On-the-job training provided. Valid NY State Driver’s license required. Proficient communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to follow oral and written instructions. Ability to adapt to routine, repetitive manual tasks. Manual dexterity and motor coordination to operate equipment. Ability to work as a team. Ability to exercise sound judgment. Work is of medium demand. Routine lifting requirements of less than 50 pounds. Standing and walking required for most of the shift. Pushing, pulling, lifting, stooping, reaching, and climbing required. Generally, works inside. Risk of exposure of communicable diseases, chemicals, and hazardous waste.The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
