Internal Posting Dates: April 22, 2024-April 27, 2024Job Grade 7: ($17.71-$24.90) CHMC – Critical Care Technician– Full Time- Night Shift- Shift –7p-7:30a- Requisition 7410The Critical Care Technician primarily assists licensed nursing staff in the Intensive Care Unit through the delivery of basic care, the management of technology and supplies, and record keeping under the supervision of, and as delegated by, a registered professional nurse. Also, performs functions that support the effective use of healthcare resources by enhancing and facilitating communication between healthcare providers.Qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent. Two (2) or more years of previous patient care experience or EMS background required. Knowledge of growth and development across the lifespan, together with the ability to use that knowledge to individualize the delivery of care. Should have experience in computer use and program application. Ability to sustain attention to detail in cardiac and vital sign monitoring and documentation of data. Ability to organize and prioritize workload in a highly acute environment with fluctuating patient census. Must maintain current BLS certification. Must pass Health Stream: Adult Learn Rhythms within 60 days of hire date.The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
