Job Summary:

We are looking for an energetic and proactive IT Support Specialist to join our team. This role requires someone with strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the physical capability to handle tasks that may involve lifting and moving equipment. A valid driver’s license is required for travel to various office locations.

Responsibilities:

Fix computer hardware and software problems for desktops, laptops, printers, and other devices.

Help install, set up, and maintain computer systems, operating systems, and software.

Support and maintain the network, including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points.

Watch how the network is working, fix connection problems, and upgrade or repair the network when needed.

Manage user accounts, permissions, and passwords to make sure only the right people have access.

Work with other IT team members to write and keep track of technical procedures and best practices.

Help buy and check IT hardware, software, and services.

Keep articles and documents updated for common problems and solutions.

Follow IT rules, procedures, and security standards.

Travel to meet customers as needed to provide support and solutions.

Qualifications:

An associate's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.

At least 2 years of experience in a helpdesk or technical support role is required.

Good understanding of computer systems, networks, and how to fix problems.

Familiar with Windows and/or Mac operating systems and skilled in Microsoft Office Suite.

Familiar with network protocols, IP addressing, LAN/WAN technologies, and wireless networks.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to fix technical issues.

Good communication and customer service skills.

Must speak English fluently.

Have a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel to different locations as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with network administration or cloud platforms is a plus.

Familiarity with helpdesk software and remote troubleshooting tools.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
