In-Office Help Desk Specialist - Fashion Industry

Our midtown-based mid-size fashion company is seeking a motivated and tech-savvy individual to join our growing Help Desk team. This in-office role provides first-line technical support for our design, sales, marketing, and other internal teams, ensuring they have the tools and resources to stay productive and stylish.

Responsibilities:

Provide first-line technical support to internal users via phone, email, and in-person assistance.

Troubleshoot a wide range of technical issues on Windows and macOS computers, including software configuration, hardware troubleshooting, and user account management.

Diagnose and resolve connectivity issues for Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop applications.

Resolve basic network connectivity problems and ensure efficient network access.

Troubleshoot malfunctioning peripheral devices like printers, scanners, and external drives.

Assist with essential server administration tasks on our Synology NAS systems.

Document technical issues and resolutions to maintain a robust knowledge base for future reference.

Maintain a positive and professional demeanor while providing exceptional customer service.

Please note that this role requires a full-time (5 days a week) on-site presence. Remote work options are not available.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems Management, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).

OR

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a technical support role.

Technical Skills:

Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems in a fast-paced environment.

Strong working knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems, including common applications and troubleshooting procedures.

Familiarity with basic networking concepts (e.g., network connectivity, IP addressing, troubleshooting).

Experience with Synology NAS systems (a plus).

Experience with Unifi network infrastructure (a plus).

Soft Skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users in a clear and concise manner.

Proactive and resourceful approach to problem-solving.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on providing positive and professional interactions.
