Overview:
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Office Clerk to join our team. As an Office Clerk, you will be responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to ensure efficient office operations. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Duties:
- Perform general office duties, such as answering phone calls, taking messages, and directing calls to appropriate personnel
- Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate department or individual
- Maintain office filing systems and ensure documents are properly organized and stored
- Assist with data entry tasks and maintain accurate records
- Assist with mail distribution and shipping/receiving tasks
- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in an administrative or clerical role preferred
- Proficient in using computerized systems for data entry and record keeping
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with phone systems and ability to handle multiple phone lines
