About the Family
We’re a warm, professional family of four based in Park Slope, Brooklyn with two dynamic, smart, and spirited children (ages 11 and 7, entering 6th and 2nd grade). We keep a full and meaningful schedule and are looking for a positive, proactive, and highly organized partner to help keep our home running smoothly as well as manage the needs of the kids during the day. This includes being present with the children, supporting their daily routines, and transporting them to and from activities. These responsibilities will often happen concurrently with managing household tasks such as laundry and preparing dinner (outlined below). Our family also spends time at our second home in Connecticut.
Who You Are
You’re upbeat, solution-oriented, and naturally take ownership of what needs to be done—often before we even ask. You have strong leadership instincts, are great with children, and can confidently set boundaries with kindness. You’re organized, flexible, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure. You’re the kind of person who loves saying, “I’ve already taken care of it.” You know how to balance structure with spontaneity, and you're someone we can count on in a pinch—like planning for a sitter when school is closed or managing family logistics with little notice.
