Small manufacturing company currently located on the Bushwick/Williamsburg border is seeking a temporary custodian / shop assistant. Candidate must be reliable, punctual, hardworking and able to safely lift heavy objects (over 50lbs). Candidate must be able to accurately measure objects to a 1/16”. Duties include general workshop maintenance (cleaning floors/bathroom/kitchen, emptying trash, bundling cardboard), doing inventory checks, cleaning filters and machines, receiving deliveries and moving larger objects within the company. The position will last until 9/11/2025 and run M-F 9-5 with 1/2 hour unpaid lunch, and might extend to a permanent full or part time position. Must be able to work well with others, and also unsupervised, completing all tasks given. Must be legal to work in the US.
