NOTHING REALLY MATTERS BAR- Down in the subway, entrance via the stairs leading to the downtown 1 train. We are a beautiful cocktail bar serving seasonal fresh and exciting cocktails as well as offering pizza from our next door sister restaurant. We are looking for a solid server for Fridays and Saturdays with option to pick up shifts to start. Immediate hire, hourly plus points in the pooled house.
Please have previous NYC cocktailing experience
Server Responsibilities-
Able to multi-task and handle multiple tables at a time
Capable of carrying full trays and comfortable with martini glasses and wine service
Well-versed in classic cocktails and willing to learn our menu and offerings extensively
Able to recommend and up-sell different liquors
Able to buss and set tables with a swiftness
Quick on their feet
Attention to detail
Comfortable with recommendations for spirits and pizzas
Continuously looking for ways to be prepared
Able to anticipate guest’s needs and stay a step ahead
Aware of space and able to navigate a busy floor effortlessly
Comfortable communicating in loud environments
Able to be a part of a team and stay informed and in communication
Always looking for ways to enhance the experience of guests and willing to go above and beyond
