Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our fast paced multi story Gastropub. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and fast paced environments, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service
As a General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the restaurant front and back of the house
Responsibilities
Supervise daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and high-quality service.
Train and develop staff to enhance their skills and improve overall performance.
Manage shift schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels during peak hours.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Utilize Toast POS system for order management, inventory tracking, and sales reporting.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and presentation.
Monitor inventory levels and ordering supplies as needed
Manage all back of the house operations and work with the kitchen regarding events and off site catering
A knowledge of Sports is a plus
Skills
Strong background in hospitality with experience in supervising staff in a high paced restaurant setting.
Proven ability in staff training and development to foster a positive work environment.
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
Familiarity with Toast POS system or similar point-of-sale technology.
Effective shift management skills to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
