Masquerade is an upscale/casual wine/cocktail bar and restaurant in Brooklyn. We are looking to hire a reliable, punctual and communicative Dishwasher/Porter. This is one of the most important positions in our restaurant and we are looking for someone who is proactive and someone who takes his job seriously. This is a full time position with 30-40 hours a week.
Responsibilities:
-washing dishes and helping out in the kitchen as needed
-wiping down counters, vacuuming, mopping
-using electric juicer to make lemon and lime juice for the bar
-putting away garbage, recycling and cardboards
-occasional bussing tables and helping with glassware
-2 days a week deep cleaning the bar and dining room including bathrooms
Masquerade was closed for 6 weeks for renovations and menu updates. unfortunately, during this time we lost our good friend and our dishwasher who was part of our small family.
