Dear Irving on Broadway, an upscale, high-energy cocktail bar and private event space perched above the city skyline, is seeking a poised and passionate Venue and Guest Experience Manager to join our leadership team. We specialize in delivering unforgettable guest experiences through impeccable service, inventive cocktails, and a vibrant, elegant atmosphere.
We are looking for a natural leader with hospitality experience—someone who thrives on the floor, connects easily with guests, and inspires excellence in those around them.
This is an exceptional opportunity for individuals currently working as a Maitre D’, Head Bartender, Lead Host, or in a comparable front-of-house leadership role who are ready to advance their career. With our training and support, we will help you develop the tools needed to become an outstanding manager and a strong, confident leader in the hospitality industry.

Position Responsibilities
- Lead the floor during service, ensuring smooth operations and attentive service at every table.
- Support and empower staff to meet performance standards with grace and enthusiasm.
- Act as a visible point of contact for guests, handling concerns with professionalism and warmth.
- Coordinate and execute private events with precision and polish.
What We’re Looking For
- A polished, professional demeanor and exceptional interpersonal skills
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in hospitality leadership or customer service
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- A detail-oriented and proactive approach to service
- Availability to work evenings and weekends
Required Certifications
- NYC DOH Food Handler’s Certificate (required)
- TIPS certification (optional at hire; provided upon employment if needed)
Technology Skills
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office
- Familiar with POS systems and reservation platforms like Resy or OpenTable
- Familiar with Tripleseat
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $68,000 – $73,000, commensurate with experience
