Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated, experienced, and creative Kitchen Manager to oversee our culinary operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for food service, ensuring that our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently. As the Kitchen Manager, you will be responsible for managing kitchen staff, maintaining food safety standards, and delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests. Pizza experience is an absolute requirement for this position, no exceptions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food preparation and presentation.
- Develop and implement training programs for new hires and ongoing staff development.
- Maintain compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative menu items that reflect current trends.
- Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to ensure seamless operations.
- Coordinate banquet services and special events, ensuring all culinary needs are met.
- Monitor kitchen performance metrics and implement improvements as necessary.
Experience:
- Proven experience in food service management or a similar role within the restaurant industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Extensive knowledge of kitchen management practices, including food safety regulations - you will be responsible for maintaining an 'A' from the DOH.
- Experience in supervising culinary staff and managing training development initiatives.
- Must possess a passion for creating exceptional dining experiences.
