Schaller & Weber is again hiring! We are looking for an experiences counter associate to oversee our growing custom sandwich offerings in our Flagship store in Yorkville. You will join a team of dedicated individuals who know German and other specialty foods.
About the position:
This is a Full Time position
May require Evening and Weekend hours
Welcome walk in guests and prepare online orders in a timely fashion
Counter assistance, friendly guest service, accurately weighing and/or slicing to order
Maintains a clean, organized and sanitary station in compliance with Department of Agriculture standards
Works with a sense of urgency and efficiency
A team player that performs other duties as required or assigned
About You:
Self-motivated with 1+ year of experience working in customer service, preferably in a food retail environment
Ability to accurately follow written and verbal instructions
Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, management and guests
Ability to work with slicers and knives
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
