Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team in a vibrant dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and exceptional customer service skills, ensuring that each guest enjoys a memorable experience. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, managing bar operations, and contributing to a positive atmosphere within our establishment.
Responsibilities:
Train and mentor bar staff, ensuring exceptional service that meets high-end bar standards.
Manage schedules, payroll, and other administrative tasks to control beverage costs, including inventory management and setting standards.
Organize and lead pre-shift meetings and departmental briefings to ensure staff alignment and readiness.
Foster communication with all departments to meet customer service expectations.
Develop seating arrangements and daily station assignments, coordinating with support staff to meet daily operational needs.
Maintain the reservation system and manage bookings to meet customer demands.
Delegate side tasks and ensure completion by bar staff.
Uphold the highest level of service for customers, ensuring their satisfaction throughout their experience.
Ensure bar areas remain clean and meet display standards.
Handle and resolve customer complaints promptly, professionally, and diplomatically.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or equivalent experience in high-end bar management.
Six to eight years of experience in high-end bar management, with at least three years in a managerial role.
Proficiency in cash handling and reconciliation, including managing cash banks and POS systems.
Ability to recruit, develop, and train hourly staff and provide ongoing guidance.
Experience in planning, marketing, and executing special events and promotions.
Strong skills in monitoring and tracking budgets and expenditures.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Comprehensive knowledge of customer service techniques and current industry standards.
Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, reservation systems, and other basic office software.
