Summary: Meta is looking for an Internal Communications Manager to join its People (HR) Communications Team. This team shares the many ways that Meta cares about our people, whether it’s through our benefits, training, diversity and inclusion efforts, compensation, or many other people programs. The People Communications Team is part of the Employee Experience Internal Communications Team, which also includes Facilities, Culinary and Security communications and Enterprise Engineering (IT) communications. In this role, you’ll have an opportunity to work with our partners in the People Organization as a strategic communications partner to craft a strategy and messaging that helps people feel connected to our mission, the work and each other. At times, you’ll also influence program direction and help connect dots across the organization to ensure we’re putting our people’s experience at the center when communicating change.You are passionate about Meta's mission to build community, and just as passionate about the people we serve. You enjoy variety and are able to ask the right questions in order to get a quick understanding of a program or initiative to craft rich narratives. You see beyond the challenges and think creatively about solutions. You stay focused and flexible in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.Required Skills: Internal Communications Manager, People Responsibilities:
Partner closely with HR functions, their leaders and employment law to understand how programs and initiatives impact our people
Design communications strategies that consider both proactive and reactive tactics
Work with our teammates on the Corporate Internal Communications and PR teams to align on communication goals, channel strategy, and messaging
Partner with the Creative Services team or agencies to develop complementary visuals and videos for internal and external use, when appropriate
Execute against communications plan that you create with visual communications, where applicable
Minimum Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications:
6+ years of work experience in internal communications
Experience building communication plans as well as executing against them
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
Experience building cross-functional relationships
Experience in a consultative role working with a variety of stakeholders
Experience supporting HR communications, including DEI
Experience in change management
Preferred Qualifications: Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in journalism, marketing or other creative field
Presentation skills
Bachelors Degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related discipline
