Senior Manager, Internal Communications (M&C)

The Marketing & Communications Internal Communications Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping and delivering the internal communications strategy for the M&C organization. Reporting to the Chief of Staff to the Chief Marketing & Communications Officer and Head of M&C Engagement, the successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership and the Associate Communications team to create and execute a comprehensive internal communications plan that is a critical piece of our engagement and transformation strategies.Key Responsibilities and Duties

Collaborate with the Chief of Staff and Head of M&C Engagement and Enterprise Associate Communications team to develop and implement comprehensive internal communications strategies.

Contribute to the design and implementation of culture transformation, and align communication strategy to support these efforts.

Create and manage consistent and powerful messages to the organization through the best channels at the right time, including written and visual media.

Develop presentations, talking points, and other strategic communications materials to support internal communication needs.

Organize and coordinate key events, such as town halls and all-hands meetings.

Proactively identify innovative solutions and best practices for effectively communicating business priorities, changes, and initiatives, and enhancing culture across the organization.

Track and evaluate internal communications metrics and feedback, evolving and improving communication plans based on this information.

Support the development of employee communication programs to drive culture change and reinforce business priorities.

Assist in writing, editing, and publishing routine internal organizational communications and publications.

3+ years of experience in corporate communications, including specific experience in internal and executive communications

Preferred:

5+ years of experience in corporate communications, including specific experience in internal and executive communications

Bachelor’s degree in communications

Excellent writing skills and the ability to clearly communicate complex business and financial information in a simple, engaging, and compelling way

Strong storytelling skills; experience in creating engaging presentations and coordinating content from subject matter experts into a cohesive story

Experience developing and executing communication strategies that support organizational changes and transformation

Experience in designing and executing internal events such as town halls, offsites, etc.

Ability to interact effectively with senior leaders and provide proactive, strategic communications counsel

Experience successfully navigating a large, complex, matrixed organization

Ability to occasionally work unpredictable hours, when necessary, based on communication needs

Some travel may be required for this role (approximately 10-15%)
